The world of Middle-earth has changed.  The beauty of the Elves fades.  It passes into legend, into myth, into dreams.  The spirits of earth, air, fire, and water which once roamed freely in these lands are now forgotten.  But it was not always so . . .

Long ago the races of the free-peoples were given Rings of Power, in which it is said was granted the power to govern each race. 

But they were all decieved . . . .

The Dark Lord Sauron forged in secret a Master ring. 

One ring to rule them all . . . .

The Last Alliance of Men and Elves defeated The Dark Lord  when Isildur cut the Ring of Power from Sauron's hand.  The Line of Men fell as Isildur took the ring from himself, as it was his undoing. 

The Ring was then lost for many years, until now . . .

Make no mistake my friend, the road ahead will not be an easy one.  In the end I know you and your warriors will justify my trust.
