I have been putting some serious time thinking what is the best way for everyone to have their own webpage. And this is the best thing I can come up with.

First of all, what is a bio page. Well it is a page that you can create to showcase your main character (alts can't have pages), skills, likes, dislikes, gear, weapons and/or anything else. As an example, my page, includes a picture, a fun write up, alternative websites and LOTRO forum signature pictures (best way to show off alts). It can be what ever you want and every recruit, member and officer is allowed to have one.

Taking a Picture

First hide all the UI's from the screen by hitting F12 during game play. Then hit F11 to take a screen shot. These images are automatically placed in your My Documents=>Lord of the Rings Online folder. Try to take images that are well lit (hard to do sometimes) because sometimes they are hard to see.

Writing a bio page

Writing a fictional bio should be fun undertaking. It gives us a chance to learn more about your character, where he started, what are his hobbies and other stuff. Remember, these are fictional so make them interesting. Are you a quester, raider and/or lover? Who knows just get creative. There are no character limits so write as much or as little as you want.

Graphic Sigs from LOTRO Forums

To make updating and knowing alts easy, a bio page can include the LOTRO signature images. They are available upon registering at the LOTRO Forums. Just login and go to the User CP (User Control Panel), Settings & Options (in the left hand navigation), Edit Signature and scroll down. Listed should be all the characters you have including Monster players.

What will be my web address?

All web address will be in this format, http://www.ko3a.net/members/yourname/, unless otherwise specified (only the yourname is changeable).
