I don't know if it's just that I'm so used to hunter, that playing LM really confuses the hell outta me, but I'm having a hard time.  I'm lvl 19, almost 20 atm, and I get my ass handed to me even on quests that are recommened for my lvl!  Is LM one of the harder classes to solo/lvl with, or with it improve dramatically once I obtain a couple more lvls or so?

Also, could anyone recommend any advice or tips?  For example, which attacks to use when?  It would be greatly appreciated!

Alcy,

Yes LM is tough to solo at lower levels. Get used to dying. Vitality is the best to increase as a LM to help with this. Also what I found helpful was to do green and light blue quests. Are you utilizing your pet to the fullest? Remember, everytime the pet flanks your enemy, you can gain a portion of morale back by using sign of wizardry. Also, I thought of a couple more things…

1) Utilize the heck out of your mezzes.

2) Get your LM class specific deeds done so your skills can be more advanced.

3) If enemies are using ranged attacks- use wind-lore on them- it makes them decrease the damage to you by 50%!!

4) Use debuffs before you start attacking bigger enemies.
