Hey sorry I've been away for awhile. Things are getting hectic with the house build. One thing I thought I'd mention is that like others have said we don't have enough players east coast or west coast individually to run 2 seperate raids. Also many of our important east coast players can't run before 9:30 pm eastern time anyways. And most of our west coast players cannot begin before 5:30 Pm. On the calander our start time is set for 6:00 Pm pst so that our west coasters have time to get home from work. This also happens to be around the time when most of our east coasters can begin playing. At the moment this is as a close as I could come up for a compromise to allow both east coasters and west coasters to rift together. Unfortunatly it also is threading the needle quite litterally. As we have noticed if our west coasters are rushing to get home from work and on the comp they run the risk of being late. And as the east coasters are allready playing later they can't sit around and wait for an hour becuase then they are up too late. So we do have a conundrum here. Untill we have more players available to run seperate rift runs or we can come up with a better game plan I think we are kind of stuck making it work atm. I do think that implementing a sign up and incentive for showing up on time tho could help quite a bit.

check Allies chat for people, better than PUG strangers. Also there was once a proposed Rift system that granted a roll for being on time for the Rift run. If we all agree to implement that it would entice some people to be there on time and to actually come.

What i'm getting a lot of lately is "I never win gear, I'm sick of the RIft". We all know it takes a lot of runs to get everyone their gear, and obviously taking PUGs with us becomes a problem when they almost always get at least one gem. So if everyone wants their Rift gear we'll all have to conform to a schedule and be more reliable so that we don't have some people waiting for like 2-3 hours to get going. I'm not pointing fingers, I know that I'm not always the most reliable, but the Rift sign-up sheet on this forum I think is a good idea, that way we won't expect someone to be there if they let us know ahead of time they can't make it and we can find a replacement faster.

If you run the Rift with the same exact people enough weeks in a row, everyone will get a full set.

ok well we talked about continuing the Rift run we started Friday night Sunday and its now Sunday so im telling you that ill be on tonight for the run, however it's often difficult for me to be available before 7pm, even on my day off.

yea i would love to go to the rift but my schedule is always so different from the rest of u guys and girls that i can almost never make it. I only have Tuesday and Wednesdays off and i don't get off until 8pm PST or later on the rest of the days. So, yea not much room for me. Oh well i am always willing to fill in if someone drops when i get on later in the night.

Sounds like a good idea...but most nights we can't get enough people together from the kin just to fill up one whole raid so I don't know how conceivable it would be unless you had about 4-5 PUG players each time. Regardless I am central time so most nights I would be available for either time. An alternative would be to have all the West coast and East coast players move to the central and mountain time zones so there won't be a big time difference. Come on, you know its worth it to play LOTRO!!!!!

Seems to some of us that we are having a small problem with Rifting. So after throwing a few ideas around, we came up with trying to have an Eastcoast and a Westcoast run. Seeing that most Rift runs start westcoast time , that is late for those of us on the east. Anyone who is interested please let it be known. If you are on the west coast or the east coast, that way we can get things moving. Rift armour is going to be important when MoM starts as it will carry you up to level 58. PST to myself or Caukina in game or here on the forums. This is not restricted to only west and east. We will be setting up a sign-up every week.

OK last couple of times we have rifted, we have had to use PUGs. Also it has been several times that people don't show when they say they will. I think we need to start having a sign up on the forums for those who are going to go, we need to set a time and show a time zone. SO that there is no confusion on when to start, if you look at the calendar you will see all it says is 6:00 PM no time zone but in-game 9:30 EST SEE THE CONFUSION

We need to get all KO3A members to join the site, if they they don't then I feel that they should go away. We need to start working as a kin and not as a PUG.

Ok, so I know a lot of you did CD already, but I really want to get it knocked out before MoM. I definately would like to have a person that knows what they are doing in there so it goes quicker and easier. I need to kill all the bosses in there for valour. Please post here if you want to join and what nights of the week are best for you. Also, anyone know what day CD locks reset on?
