Since the release of MoM I have been feeling like a noob all over again. I don’t know what it is. Is it KO3A members have progressed to the upper levels of 50 and 60 that I feel left out on questing, is it that my gear and level required to quest seems obsolete or is it the darkness that seems to fill the halls of Moria? Not real sure but occasionally it seems that progress is made, the other night I finally hit level 53.
Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me and my over thinking of everything? Could it be work interfering to much with LOTRO time to get any real productivity numbers going? Hmm don’t know. So last night, tired of roaming the halls of Moria, I headed out to the Ettenmoors to see if anyone was doing some killing. Right away I seen a creep that low on morale and I ganked him from the backside (sounds dirty) and then immediately got destroyed by his buddies.
Wambli joined me for a bit but had to leave to get some good sleep but we got killed a few times and never where productive. It was cool though and since the release of MoM, Elf Camp got a some new fortress updates making it a tad easier to stay safe. But the crappy thing is that a Champs ranged weapons still suck and creeps can easily stay out of shooting range making it sorta pointless for a Champ.
Anyhoo that is enough complaining about my noobishness; better log on and work on some levels and shake this feeling. And as Tool would say “I need to watch things die”.
Right now I am downloading the new updates, well lets hope they are all the updates, for Mines of Moria expansion. There are 14,561 files to download and that will take a while even on a high speed connection…boo updates…horary LOTRO. I am really excited to deploy new champ upgrades and start making a mess out of the enemies that will be found in MoM.
I look forward to many KO3A members who have been gone to return on the release date, like Redrover but some will still be long before there return. I did talk to Tantastus and he will be back after schools ends in August 09. Seems likes a ways out but for some reason I know many will still be here to see his return to KO3A.
Through 2,800+ files, arg…
Well hopefully it finishes faster than it is going.
